WHAT IS RETROFIT CHECK?

RETROFITcheck is a simple, user friendly online system providing independent verification of pre-installation building inspections across a range of retrofit measures, by a team of accredited auditors.

The RETROFIT pre check service provides peace of mind early on in the installation process, helping to mitigate risk and safeguard future building integrity. RETROFITcheck encompasses: CAVcheck, IWIcheck, RIRIcheck, UFIcheck, LOFTcheck, EWIcheck and FRIcheck. Pitched Roof Insulation (PRIcheck) is launching soon, and other measures are available on request.

Following the 2023 amendments to PAS 2030 there is now a requirement to demonstrate that independent checks have been undertaken for all insulation measures claiming acompliance with PAS 2030.

EXPERTISE YOU CAN RELY ON

THS are the first organisation to have been approved by ATMA to conduct independent audits on Pre-Installation Building Inspections under an extension of scope to the TrustMark Scheme.

On completion of your project you will receive PDF evidence that your installation has been checked and approved, together with a Unique Reference Number (URN) which can be validated by third parties to confirm that the check has been independently undertaken.

If your submission is not approved first time, feedback will be given on the areas that need to be improved in order for your installation to be compliant.

Our service can also cover GBIS installations utilising the Trustmark Licence Plus Scheme or projects that are not being lodged in the data warehouse but are seeking to demonstrate compliance with the PAS standards.
